Variety of Latin rhythms
Traditional Latin rhythms in modern arrangement, but more classical approach than younger generations (such as Jovenes Clasicos Del Son). If you like Septeto Habanero or Sierra Maestra, you will definitely like this. If you are looking for more juvenile and contemporary Cuban son music than that of Buena Vista Social Club, this excellent album is worth listening. It is also a good introduction to Latin rhythms such as son, bolero, quajira, cumbia, etc. Songs in bolero and cha-cha-chá are really beautiful. The vocal is strong and percussion is formidable. Surprising discovery.
